New Feature: Create Custom Project Fields to Organize Your Projects

Starting today you can create custom fields for your projects in Ashby! As your candidate database grows over time, it becomes important to have an easy way to organize and search across your projects. Custom project fields allow you to logically organize and scale your usage of projects.

These custom fields support multiple field types and you can mark fields as required ensuring your data stays clean.

This allows you to organize your projects by dimensions like department (sales, engineering, customer success), project type (talent pool, DEI initiative, campaigns), or any other way that makes sense for your team.

You may also want to report on the impact of various sourcing efforts to understand where to invest time and effort for project specific work. Custom fields make it easy to build a report that shows, “candidates that have reached the offer stage from our ‘design DEI initiative’ projects.”
