Streamline your hiring process with Conditional Activities

Today, we’re introducing the ability to conditionally create activities— sending an email, scheduling an interview, sending a take-home assessment, etc.—based on filters you set within the stages of your interview plan. This feature is available to customers on the Enterprise plan.

These filters leverage candidate data, streamlining the creation of specific activities based on the unique attributes of candidates in your pipeline. This covers scenarios like:

  • Adding a background check based on the candidate’s location
  • Sending a take-home assessment to junior-level candidates instead of senior-level candidates
  • Sending different emails depending on whether the candidate is internal

To get started, head to any activity in your interview plan and open the “Conditions” tab.

Here, you can set filters that determine when an activity should be created for a candidate entering that stage.

When a candidate moves into that stage, the activity will automatically be created if the filter criteria are met.

Here, in the onsite stage, you'll notice an external candidate triggering the creation of an e-signature request activity for an NDA.

An internal candidate, who doesn’t meet the filter criteria, would not have the e-signature request activity created.

By using Conditional Activities, you eliminate the need to manually create or remove one-off activities for specific candidates. You also may feel more confident implementing activity automation now that you have greater control over activity creation.

This helps your Hiring Team’s productivity, but it also signals to candidates that you are considering their unique context helping create a better interview experience for candidates. Enterprise customers can get started today by heading over to any activity in your interview plan.
