Ashby is a remote-first company with colleagues working from 17 countries in North America and Europe. We meet in person at least once a year in Europe and in our office in San Francisco.
Something I'm proud of at Ashby...
As Ashby grew, I took on the full-time responsibility for our Analytics product. Within that scope, I've brought a dedicated focus to understanding our customers' product journey, starting at the sales demo through onboarding to the ongoing customer experience. In working closely with many of our customers, I defined a standard set of dashboards for common use cases and needs in the recruiting space. These reports are now the starting point for every new customer and available immediately, providing access that otherwise would take many weeks of analyst effort. It's amazing to see a talent leader's joy when they get insights into their recruiting process they never had before.
Something I've helped the team with...
On a topic that's less about the day-to-day of product management, I wanted to help our team members get to know each other in our remote-first world. To help with that, I introduced a people intro slide deck where everyone gets a slide to share more about their personal interests. At all hands, every new employee introduces themselves with that slide. We've been able to learn a lot of interesting things that we would have otherwise never known, and it's a ton of fun!
Most surprising thing about Ashby...
I joined Ashby primarily because of the people - they're talented and are a rare selection of all-around great coworkers. Apart from that, having seen our product help, enable, and satisfy customers, I've had a growing pride in what we do and what we're building. It was a bit unexpected at first, but now I look at all the other companies in the world that I admire, and I have a sort of excitement at the idea of helping them effectively build the team they need. It's fun and hard work, we have so much to build, but it's really rewarding.
Something I'm excited to work on at Ashby...
With Ashby's extensive range of features, thereโs no shortage of data, and countless opportunities to enhance visibility for both internal and external teams - and my aim is to help continually improve the data and reporting infrastructure that lives outside the Ashby app. Streamlining the data pipelines and reducing friction in how information flows allows us to make better decisions, and thatโs something Iโm excited to contribute to every day!
My onboarding experience at Ashby...
The onboarding experience has been outstanding - and I canโt believe I shipped my first mini data product in week one! The abundance of documentation, videos, and playbooks made the process smooth and efficient, helping me hit the ground running.
Most surprising thing about Ashby...
The pace at which new features are released at Ashby, and of course the sheer quantity and quality of the documentation absolutely amazed away!
Something I'm excited to work on at Ashby...
I'm excited to develop our product analytics! I want to be methodical in analyzing how our customers use Ashby so we can identify pain points or opportunities and estimate the overall impact of making changes. I also want to help other teams at Ashby incorporate data and automation into their processes.

Everybody is extremely driven and helpful. There is a lot of potential for projects at Ashby and the people here are excited to work with you to complete them - Ashby is a great mix of fast and and thoughtful.

Ashby is very transparent with their goals and projects. I really enjoy getting to see what each team is producing and how at the forefront of every decision is making a product that customers will love.
